History of JAJH
Welcome to Ren Ai Junior High School, which was first known as Taipei Municipal Jen Ai Secondary School and was established in 1963. In September of the same year, 607 students enrolled. However, as the current campus was still under construction, the school temporarily conducted classes in Taipei Municipal Stadium. It was a tough time when the district was still undeveloped and all the faculties put great effort in the campus. It was not until October 15th of 1963 that the campus settled at the current address, No. 130 Sec. 4 Ren Ai Road. In 1968, on the enforcement of 9-year compulsory education, the school was renamed as the Taipei Municipal Ren Ai Junior High School. Meanwhile, the school started to incorporate televisions in teaching. Students’ motivation was raised and their academic performance enhanced as well. Hence, it was assigned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education as the visiting school for foreign head of states and expatriates living abroad. Since then, Ren Ai Junior High School has attracted lots of students to enroll for its prosperous learning environment and excellent teaching.
